Conditions of Entry

Entries Close Friday 6th June 2025.

Fees

  • $15 per artwork for Non-MACC Members Maximum 3 entries
  • $10 for MACC members. Maximum 3 entries.
  • Free entry for under 16 years of age, limit 2 entries.

Size and Weight & Hanging requirements quilts exclueded

  • Entries must be framed and mounted, and ready for hanging with D rings etc.
  • Maximum size of framed artworks is not to exceed 1.5 metres on any side.
  • Maximum weight of 10 kilos unless prior arrangements have been made with MACC.

Delivery of Works

Works to be delivered to Murrurundi RSL Hall, 116 Mayne Street Murrurundi on:

  • Fri 6th  June 10am – 4pm
  • Sat 7th June 10am – 4pm
  • Sun 8th June 10am – 4pm

Item may be for sale

The entry form is binding and used to create the catalogue. Works to be titled for identification purposes. Please use the labels provided when delivering your artworks.

Commission

A sales commission is 20% will be charged for all works sold.

Works

Works – Paintings

Entries must be the original work of the artist. Works must not have been shown previously in any competition in Murrurundi. No photographs will be accepted. All catalogued entries in this category will be judged and are eligible for the Best in Show Award which is non-acquisitive. Painting is the act or process of using paint and includes watercolour (or other waterbased paints), oils, acrylics, tempera, gouache, encaustic, ink or pastels.

Works – Arts and Crafts

Sculpture, and other Arts & Crafts (excluding Paintings) Entries must be the original work of the artist. Works must not have been shown previously in any competition in Murrurundi. No photographs will be accepted. All catalogued entries in this category will be judged and are eligible for the Best in Show Award which is non-acquisitive.

Media

MACC reserve the right to have any entries reproduced in the media.

Care

All care will be taken however no liability by the Murrurundi Arts & Crafts Council Inc will be accepted for loss or damage while on exhibition.

Collection of Works

  • Monday 16th June 4pm – 6pm
  • Tuesday 17th June 9am – 4pm.

Alternate arrangements must be made at the time of delivery.  Unclaimed entries become the property of the Murrurundi Arts & Crafts Council.
