Piano Hinge Book Binding Workshop

Where and When:  The Railway Rooms Murrurndi Railway Station Tuesday 10th December 10am to 2pm

What you will learn:

This binding does not involve any sewing. The signatures are attached to the mountain peaks of the accordion spine and then secured using a strip of decorative card stock.  This binding is ideal for people who like to collage, draw or paint as the pages can be removed and be worked on and then re-inserted once finished.

What you will create:

We will be making an A5 book and if time allows a small companion A6 book.  The binding can be adapted to any size including custom sizes.
Written instructions will also be provided.

Materials Provided:

All materials provided including Japanese and hand-made paper for the covers, a selection of paper mediums for the signatures and decorative card for securing the spine.
