Lino Block Wallpaper Print Making. October 11 & 12

Lino Block Wallpaper Print Workshop.
Develop a half drop repeat lino block for continuous wallpaper printing.
Day 1: Be guided through the steps of drawing a half drop repeat design. We’ll use plants as the subject matter.
Day 2: Hand printing a length of wallpaper. Setting the press to print the relief block to make 2 prints.
Cost: $195 MACC Members or $205 Non-MACC Members
Fees cover both days and includes all wallpaper and art print materials.
Your Workshop Instructor – Rhonda Ellem
Rhonda Ellem is a New England printmaker and a member of the Black Gully Printmakers,
Armidale. Over the past ten years she has presented workshops in wallpaper design and printing,
collagraph, dry-point, potato and gelli-plate printing in the Clarence and New England areas. She
is a volunteer at the Museum of Printing Armidale, previously ran The Uralla Print Gallery and has
exhibited in group shows in Armidale, Tamworth, the UK and the Clarence.
Her present works are a part of Impressions, a group exhibition featuring the Black Gully
Printmakers, Weswal Gallery Tamworth, August 20 to September 14 2025, and The Pollinator
Project Fire Station Members’ Show Melbourne October 28 to November 14 2025.

Piece of a plant….vine, leaves, flowers, buds, sticks
Pencils, rubber, texter pen
Any house paint sample pots if you have them. Full or part full. We will have a range of sample pots if you don’t.
Print apron or old clothes and enclosed shoes.
