Conditions of Entry

Fees

$15 per artwork for Non-MACC Members Maximum 3 entries $10 for MACC members. Maximum 3 entries. Under 16 free entry, limit 2 entries.

Size and Weight & Hanging requirements

Maximum size not to exceed 1.5 metres on any side, including frame, (Excluding quilts). Stretched canvas and board (with back support) is deemed framed. Hanging entries must be framed and mounted, and ready for hanging with D rings etc. A maximum weight of 10 kilos unless prior arrangements have been made with the organiser.

Delivery of Works

Works to be delivered to Murrurundi RSL Hall, 116 Mayne Street Murrurundi on Sat 1st, Sun 2nd & Monday 3 rd June 10am-5pm.

Item may be for sale

The entry form is binding and used to create the catalogue. Works to be titled for identification purposes. Please use the labels provided.

Commission Sales commission 20% of sale price. Please provide Bank Details for direct deposit on your entry form.

Works

Works – Paintings

Entries must be the original work of the artist. Works must not have been shown previously in any competition in Murrurundi. No photographs will be accepted. All catalogued entries in this category will be judged and are eligible for the Best in Show Award which is non-acquisitive. Painting is the act or process of using paint and includes watercolour (or other waterbased paints), oils, acrylics, tempera, gouache, encaustic, ink or pastels.

Works – Arts and Crafts

Sculpture, and other Arts & Crafts (excluding Paintings) Entries must be the original work of the artist. Works must not have been shown previously in any competition in Murrurundi. No photographs will be accepted. All catalogued entries in this category will be judged and are eligible for the Best in Show Award which is non-acquisitive.

Media

The organisers reserve the right to have any entries reproduced in the media.

Care

All care will be taken but no liability by the Murrurundi Arts & Crafts Council Inc will be accepted for loss or damage while on exhibition.

Collection of Works

Works to be collected Monday 10th June 3pm – 5pm & Tuesday 11th June 9am – 4pm. Alternate arrangements must be made at the time of delivery. Unclaimed entries become the property of the Murrurundi Arts & Crafts Council.
