Judge: Rhonda Thwaite

Rhonda completed her Bachelor of Art and Diploma of Education at the National Art School, in Newcastle, and between 1978- 1980, worked and studied in Paris.

From 1980 -1983, she worked in London with a prominent black and white a custom printer. Some of her clients included the Victoria and Albert museums. During this time, Rhonda exhibited in several major photographic exhibitions.

Of note, in her list of photographic experience, is her involvement in RAM and Countdown magazines and videos and stills for bands such as INXS, Simple Minds and Culture Club

Between 1983-1988, she worked for Ogilvy and Mather Advertising, as a senior photographer. Clients included, American Express, Kodak, Polaroid, Johnson & Johnson and Woolworths.

In 1989, Rhonda worked as Artist in Residence, at Tennant Creek, focussing on aboriginal communities and outback stations.

Rhonda has exhibited in various places, around Australia and the world, both in a group exhibition and as a solo artist.

Her most recent works involve large inkjet prints, on canvas
